The Peca Electronics Type 8506 6.4” TFT-LCD Colour Monitor produces exceptionally bright, crisp pictures using the latest TFT-LCD technology. Good pictures are visible over a wide viewing angle.
The monitor is housed in an attractive robust, metal casing and is suitable for a wide range of applications. These include portable, handheld use, mounted on a camera as a viewfinder or as a fully mobile unit mounted in a vehicle.
The Monitor will produce excellent monochrome pictures by selecting the Monochrome option and feeding the signal via the Coded Input BNC connector. This routes the monochrome signal directly into the luminance path and by-passes the decoder and its bandwidth limiting filtering.
A carrying pouch with strap and compartment
for a battery is available as an optional accessory. This allows
the Monitor to be transported on the shoulder or used with the strap around
the neck leaving both hands free, particularly useful when setting
up cameras from the top of a ladder! The battery will run the monitor
for approximately two hours. A suitable battery charger is also
available as an option.
The front flap, which is padded to give protection to the screen is hinged up for viewing and acts as a sunshield.
An Audio input option is also available
allowing audio signals at or near line level to be heard via a Headphone
jack. A volume control provides control of the audio level to the
headphones.
