The Series 4000/F LED array  lamps are suitable for medium range use, up to 50 metres (4010/F) and are offered with a choice of wavelength and Power Unit. The  lamps offer the advantages of small size,  good range, long lamp life  and low power consumption due to the use of Light Emitting Diodes.  There is a choice of Power Unit to operate the lamp heads, allowing for 12V dc, 24V ac or mains input voltages.  Some units offer light sensors to automatically switch the lamp on at dusk and off at dawn.  Circuitry is provided to allow the light to switch on or off gradually, to avoid setting off movement sensors which may be in use with the resultant camera output signals. Allowance is also made to enable the sensor to ignore short periods of high light levels as can be experienced from car headlights etc.
